Hi, this is Sara. Welcome to my new portfolio site. I’ve been thinking about putting something together for a while — and this is definitely a work in progress — but it’s time to get the ball rolling. So, here we are.
The idea behind this site is to create a digital portfolio of my work as a writer and designer, and just for kicks, I may add some links to other things that catch my eye. We’ll just have to see where it goes, or how much time I want to invest.
In the meantime, a few words about me: I’m a journalist, writer, editor, graphic designer, sometimes publisher… I’ve spent much of my career working for newspapers, but I also enjoy more creative projects, including designing logos, business cards, event posters and more. I have two kids, one dog and a husband (20 years!) — not necessarily in that order. I love travel, France, couponing, cocktails and obsessively researching genealogy. I occasionally do laundry and sometimes get to bed before midnight.
